Homespire Mortgage Corporation’s Employees Donate Over 500 Pounds of Food to Manna Food Center

Gaithersburg, Maryland – The employees of Homespire Mortgage Corporation, one of the country’s fastest-growing independent mortgage companies currently licensed to operate in 35 states and the District of Columbia, have been recognized for their generous April donation totaling 556 lbs. of food to the Manna Food Center in Gaithersburg, MD.

Founded in 1983, the non-profit Manna Food Center works to end hunger in Montgomery County, MD, through food distribution, education and advocacy. In 2018 alone, Manna served over 39,000 packages of food to 26,401 citizens of Montgomery County.

The donation is a part of Homespire Mortgage’s “Inspired to Impact” employee initiative which is designed to keep philanthropy ingrained in the philosophy and culture of Homespire Mortgage as well as incentivize their employees through a variety of means such as charitable contributions, corporate giving, philanthropic partnerships and employee volunteerism.
