Why did you choose a career in the mortgage industry?
I chose a career in the mortgage industry because I genuinely love helping people take one of the biggest - and most exciting - steps of their lives. For me, it’s never just about the numbers or the transaction; it’s about guiding each person with care, honesty, and heart so they can reach their home and financial goals with confidence. Knowing I can make this process feel less overwhelming and more empowering for someone is what truly drives me every day.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
What I enjoy most about my work is the chance to truly connect with people, especially first-time homebuyers, and help them turn the dream of homeownership into a reality. I know how overwhelming the process can feel, so I love being a steady, supportive guide they can trust every step of the way. It’s not just about closing loans; it’s about making sure people feel cared for, understood, and confident in one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
What are 3 words past clients would use to describe you?
Based on my last 5 reviews: I think past clients would describe me as caring, knowledgeable, and dedicated. They’ve shared how much they value the time and attention I give to guide them through the process, my patience in answering every question, and my determination to make things happen even under tight deadlines. Above all, they know I truly have their best interests at heart.
What excites you most about life?
Besides helping families through my work, what really excites me most about life is watching my son grow. He’s turning three this September, and honestly, seeing the pure wonder and joy he finds in just about everything throughout the day is incredible. Whether it’s a new bug, a silly face, or just a simple game, his excitement is contagious, and it reminds me to find joy in the little things, even if it means chasing him around the house like a part-time ninja!
How do you give back to your community?
Giving back means a lot to me because this is more than just a job - it’s my community and my home. Through the Montgomery County Career Advisory Program (MOCO CAP), I get to teach kids about money and financial smarts. It’s fun to know I’m helping future homeowners avoid the mistakes I made (or at least the ones I hope they avoid!). Helping the next generation get a head start feels pretty great, and it keeps me on my toes too!
How do you enjoy spending your free time?
In my free time, I love being outdoors and soaking in the simple joys of life with my family and friends. Some of my favorite moments are spent with my son L.B., watching him explore the world with wide eyes, my partner Tory by my side, and our little zoo - our two cats, Cootie and Chini, and our dog, Bear - adding plenty of love and laughter. Whether we’re trying new things, traveling, or just sharing quiet moments together, it’s the quality time with them that fills my heart the most.

What's the best movie of all time?
Definitely not the best movie of all time…that’s way too tough to choose! But Point Break is one I can never skip when it’s on TV. It’s got that perfect mix of adrenaline-pumping action, iconic characters, and a story that’s both thrilling and surprisingly deep. The dynamic between Johnny Utah and Bodhi is electric. It’s about loyalty, freedom, and pushing limits, both physically and mentally. Plus, those epic surfing and skydiving scenes still hold up and give such a rush.
